We are delighted to have reopened our Woodthorpe branch after over a decade away from our much-loved clinic. We are back, and we've invested in the clinic to create a purpose-built, soundproof hearing health care centre.
Our new Woodthorpe hearing care clinic provides a full range of hearing health care services from hearing tests, hearing aids, ear wax removal service and tinnitus management. The clinic is led by our audiologist Abigail Hynes.
Abigail Hynes, BSc (Hons), RHAD
Abigail is a highly skilled audiologist with a First-Class BSc (Hons) degree in Healthcare Science (Audiology). As a registered hearing aid dispenser (RHAD) under the Health Care and Professions Council (HCPC - HAD03420), she brings a wealth of expertise to her practice.Abigail holds a specialised qualification in aural microsuction (ear wax removal) from The Hearing Lab, which has been recommended by the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists since 2013. With eight years of experience in the NHS, she also played a significant role in the training and clinical supervision of BSc students from Aston University.Transitioning to the private sector over two years ago, Abigail has developed extensive experience in audiological assessments, adult rehabilitation, and advanced hearing aid technologies. Committed to continuous professional development, she stays at the forefront of her field through ongoing CPD activities.
